A place steeped in history in the heart of Paris

The Palais Chaillot is an architectural gem, designed in 1937 for the Universal Exhibition. This emblematic site has witnessed major historic events, including the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. It is home to the Musée de l’Homme, as well as our magnificent Café de l’Homme.

The restaurant is the brainchild of Coco Coupérie-Eiffel (great-great-granddaughter of Gustave Eiffel) and Christophe Bonnat, a duo passionate about French culture and the art of entertaining. Their vision gave birth to a space where gastronomy, heritage, and conviviality are harmoniously intertwined.

In 2004, Café de l’Homme opened its doors, becoming a must-visit address for anyone looking for a place to eat with a view of the Eiffel Tower. In 2011, architects Gilles & Boissier reinterpreted the décor to pay homage to Art Deco, blending noble materials with contemporary elegance.
